well, i just found out that the school has a 2 day holiday (monday and tuesday). since we have 4 days free, Lawrence suggested that Kat and I go to Dali and Lijiang... so we're leaving in an hour! they're two really ancient cities...we're taking the bus everywhere, and it sounds like it should be a great trip! here's a pic of me at the great wall that i forgot to post before:
